Welcome to Publishers!

In this part of the site you can upload, amend or delete information about your organisation and the titles you publish.

First, log in at the top right by using the drop-down menu. Enter your password below (if you have forgotten this, please email us at info@snpa.org.uk or call us on 0131 220 4353). Note that after you have logged in, you can choose to change your password.

You'll have the options of ‘Edit Publisher’ and ‘Edit Publication’.

  • Start by clicking ‘Edit Publisher’, which will bring up a list of SNPA publishers.
  • Alongside your organisation’s name, click ‘edit’. This reveals a number of titled fields for you to complete: Publisher Name, Password (you can change this if you like), Town where the organisation is based (drop-down), Address, Telephone, Fax, ISDN, Email and then primary contact names (titles and names are sought).
  • When you’re happy with these details, don’t forget to click on ‘Update’ at the bottom of the page to save your information.

Now go back to the top right of the screen and click ‘Edit Details’, which brings you back to the Database Admin screen.

  • Click on ‘Edit Publication’, which will deliver a list of titles published by your company.
  • Alongside each publication over which you have editing rights, there’s an ‘edit’ option. When you click on ‘edit’, you’ll be able to complete the details in a number of field boxes, including: Title, Publisher (drop-down), tick-box for free-distribution titles, Title’s website, Title’s address, Title’s telephone, fax and ISDN numbers, as well as names and emails for editorial, advertising and general contacts.
  • There’s then a list of towns to allow you to describe each of your titles’ geographic coverage. Once again, please remember to click on ‘Update’ to save your information.
  • Unless you have any further changes to make, go back to the top right and client on ‘Log out’.

Note that you don't have to complete every field. Only the information you input will be displayed on the public site.

Please note that we have yet to reference each of the towns listed to latitudes and longitudes, so that the map’s functionality remains patchy; this will be updated shortly!
